In other metals, platinum for April delivery PLJ5, +0.03% fell $11.70 to end at $1,195.60 an ounce, while March palladium PAH5, +0.40% tacked on 85 cents to $766.55 an ounce. High-grade copper for March delivery HGH5, +0.14% closed down by about a penny at $2.541 a pound.
