January platinum PLF5, -0.62% was down $18.10, or 1.5%, to $1,224.70 an ounce, while December palladium PAZ4, -1.35% gave up $13.75, or 1.7%, to $790.65 an ounce. High-grade copper for December delivery HGZ4, -0.31% was off 5 cents to $3.02 a pound.
