January platinum PLF5, -0.02% lost $5.40, or 0.45%, to $1,207.50 an ounce, while December palladium PAZ4, +0.00% gave up $3.00, or almost 0.4%, to $768.35 an ounce. High-grade copper for December delivery HGZ4, -0.26% dropped slightly, losing 1 cent, to $3.03 a pound.
