January platinum PLF5, -1.19% closed up $4.80, or 0.4% to $1,240 an ounce, while December palladium PAZ4, -0.44% rose $11.45, or 1.45.%, to $803.25 an ounce. High-grade copper for December delivery HGZ4, +0.07% didn’t move up marginally by a two cents to close up 0.56% at $3.06.
