Gold Market Update
Gold prices slipped for a third consecutive session on Friday but still notched a weekly gain of nearly 3%.Gold for February delivery GCG5, -0.29% shed $3.10, or 0.3%, to settle at $1,222.50 an ounce, while March silver SIH5, -0.45% lost 6 cents, or 0.3%, to $17.06 an ounce.
